What effect will the house be values when multiple units of family apartments are built nearby?
I am in a neighborhood all the houses (of varying size and value). Recently, someone suggested the construction of two family apartments in 8 buildings on the street behind my neighbors house about 2 hectares. Is there a place where I can find comparative examples of this type of development and see the impact on property values in the neighborhood? My instinct is to sell immediately, but would like information on the decision.
Do not panic selling. Did you this caliber of these properties have to be? Perhaps they are of higher quality not the bottom of the barrel? You need to assess the quality of the proposed building against the type of housing in your neighborhood. If you live in a kind of neighborhood "exclusively This situation could devalue their property. If you live in a pretty average neighborhood, I would not worry too much. Sixteen rental units will not become to the region in the ghetto.
